Hey there! It's Jen, and I am so happy you are here with me to explore THE VIBE SHIFT.
Before we jump into the vibes, I wanted to introduce myself and share a little about who I am, why I'm here, and why you should join me on this journey.
I'm a big city girl proudly raised in a blended and mixed family split between San Francisco and New York, most recently refined in Los Angeles–Silver Lake, specifically! I am endlessly curious, extremely future-oriented, passionately values-led, perpetually surrounded by music, and have a soulful affinity for aesthetics. I love deep and meaningful conversations, especially when they challenge the norm and bring new perspectives to light … AND I've always been the one who talks too much … but it's because I can't hold back when the vibes start flowing!
For the last 25 years, I've spent my time leading all aspects of Product, Brand, and Experience creation–from design through delivery–for some of the world's most beloved and iconic brands. I credit my career for defining and shaping who I am professionally AND personally; most meaningfully, the last 25 years have taken me to all corners of the globe, allowing me to experience and explore the many different people and cultures that make up our collective humanity. I've lived my dream, observing the cultural zeitgeist in action - the trends, core motivations, defining factors, values, and passions that make us who we are worldwide.
My mission is to connect the dots and shape the future. I enjoy piecing together theoretical puzzles, finding narratives in the noise, and identifying patterns in diverse data sets. This passion for drawing connections and insights from seemingly unrelated and novel sources is my version of ‘systems thinking,' and it's the driving force behind why I am creating THE VIBE SHIFT.
Through rich dialogue, diversity of thought, ideas that build on each other, creativity, vulnerability, and imagination, I hope to foster ideas that unlock how we shape the future together!
